Dear colleagues:

As most of you have for sure realized already, we cordially invite you
to join us for an international highlight conference in Regensburg,
Germany, end of 2007. The event is going to be held from December 2nd to
December 4th with a parallel national Czech and German Day on December
5th, 2007. The conference will tackle important domains like Health
Telematics, Health Informatics, Bioinformatics, Telemedicine, and
Biomedical Engineering and respective Technologies.

Therefore, the event is called “eHealth: Combining Health Telematics,
Telemedicine, Biomedical Engineering and Bioinformatics to the Edge
(CeHR)”.

It would be a real pleasure for the organizers of the CeHR conference
if you consider your participation in this event in less than one year
from now. Announcing the congress that early might have several
advantages. You can start planning your participation as early as
possible; you can think about actively participating by submitting a
paper for the proceedings volume and a poster for the scientific
exhibition; and you can think about spending a few more days in
Regensburg, an UNESCO World Heritage City, just a few days before
Christmas.

The organizers have extended the deadline for the CeHR submissions to
March 15th for allowing more interested colleagues to submit their
papers.

Further information on the event, on the Call for Submissions, on
Accommodation and Travel is available from the congress homepage at
http://www.CeHR.de (English, Spanish, Czech, and German version).
Almost all invited speakers have confirmed their participation so we
expect an outstanding event to take place in Regensburg. The conference
website will periodically be updated in order to provide you with recent
details on congress preparation. Don’t miss the opportunity to benefit
from up-to-date information.

Please feel free to forward this announcement to as many interested
colleagues as possible. And please accept our sincere apologies if you
receive this announcement more than once. Most of you are very engaged
in the respective scientific domains so your names might appear on a
number of mailing lists.

I am really looking forward to meeting and greeting many of you in
Regensburg in December 2007.

Kindest regards,

Bernd Blobel (OC and SPC Chair)
