[AK-MI] Call for papers: 8th ICICTH (International Conference on Information Communication Technologies in Health) July 15-17, 2010, Samos Island, Greece

Dear Sir/Madam,  

We are pleased to announce that the: Research and Training Institute of the East Aegean (INEAG), Greece, National & Kapodistrian University of Athens - Faculty of Nursing, Greece, GHIA - Greek Health Informatics Association, University for Health Sciences, Medical Informatics & Technology, Austria, Institute of Biomedical Engineering, Bogazici University, Turkey
will host the 8th ICICTH International Conference on Information Communication Technologies in Health, July 15-17, 2010, Samos Island, Greece.

8th ICICTH SAMOS 2010 aims to facilitate the discussion on the effective use of ICT in the process of healthcare and to provide a forum for scientific debate and constructive interaction in a multi cultural social environment. The conference provides a platform for scientists and clinicians to present research work; to exchange knowledge, ideas and experience and to identify and discuss the challenges and solutions to effective management and deployment of technology applications. 

Ph.D candidates are explicitly invited to present and discuss their research ideas and work in progress.
Biomedical and Health Informatics, Telemedicine, Education and elearning in healthcare domain, Health administration and Management are some of the topics of the 8th ICICTH 2010.
All papers will be peer reviewed by members of the Scientific Committee. 
Selected papers of ICICTH will be considered for publication in the Journal Applied Clinical Informatics (ACI) (www.aci-journal.org) after peer revision by members of Conference's and Journals' Scientific Committee. 
If you would like to present at the 8th ICICTH SAMOS 2010, and have your paper published in the Conference Proceedings (ISSN and ISBN), submit it to icicth at ineag.gr (attention Dr Maria Katharaki or Dr Stelios Daskalakis). 
Deadline for submission: April 30th, 2010
